title : After the Ball (Leo Tolstoy) Plot questions
A. Plot

1.  The story is about a man and a lady in the 19th century. This man falls in love with woman he just danced with throughout the whole ball. She is pretty, smart and lady like everything a man could ask. The main event is basically the ball that took place, this is where the man falls in love with the woman named Varenka.
 2. Yes, they are ordered chronologically.
3. The story is told by the man who fell in love with Varenka also know as Ivan Vassilievich (the main character)
4. It quite normal, not fast nor slow. It is interesting because they take things fast but then the events happen slowly.
5. Well Ivan wants to marry Varenka right after he meets her at the ball, but then she already has a fiancee.
6. The conflicts are:
- She does not think of him in that sense
- Her father likes to torture people if they don't listen to him
- She was going to get engaged soon
7. The climax was when he finds about Verenka's dad and is second thinking is opinion on her family.
8. Yes, it all makes sense. First he falls in love with her only to find out that she has a fiancee and then he finds about her father and second thinks about what he feels for her.
9. This is a story told by the man to the people who came to talk to him, because back then he was a very intelligent man and very wanted. He was like one of the idols we call it today. He was quite famous and who wouldnt want to know a devastating love story of someone who is so important to the world.
